re:update
I have new golf clubs, okay well new used golf clubs... and you say Kate, Golf? nope don't think so... but yes I do golf, I'm forced to once a year at my husbands family reunion, a 9 hole, teams of 4 scramble. The teams are usually set up 2 guys, 2 ladies, but this year we were a lady short and lucky me,I got the team of 3 guys. One of which is the best golfer in the family. They like to handicap the best golfers by putting them with the worst golfers. After 10 years of playing with a set of kids clubs, and doing a really sad impression of a golfer, we finally broke down and got me adult clubs, including a putter and driver which the kid set was lacking. and what a steal, 9 irons, a pitching wedge, 3 woods, a driver and putter, balls and a bag for $85, Amazing what the right size equipment can do... my balls all went forwards this year and I made an almost impossible putt giving us a birdie on the par 5 hole:)we didn't win but we were much closer to first than last place. which is good cause I'm already on the horses ass trophy twice. of course having to golf isn't the worst the day has to offer, that would be the dreaded egg toss. the carpet in the kitchen came up with much help, the glue actually pulled pieces of the sub floor with it. now I have a lovely floor of slatesesque sticky tiles. I just got 4 shirts, a turban and another coat done...14 more days to sew till pennsic...I'm looking forward to having Lydia out to help for a few days We also have a dog visiting, we have Lucy our english cocker spaniel and her aunt Daphne (really she is her aunt)is staying for two weeks, a nice change from the other dog we watched, a 6 mon. 54 lb.husky/shepherd/who else knows what, who liked to eat underwear. (he got 5 of mine, 3 of my husbands and some socks) Daph is a couch potato. the only problem, 2 cocker's giving you the I'm so cute, feed me, pet me love me eyes.
